Some recent pictures

Ella at the covered bridge in Elizabethton.
We went on a nature hunt at Sycamore Sholes. This is Isaiah next to the river.

Ella and Isaiah at Sycamore Shoals.

Uncle Zach passed down his John Deere ride-on toy to the kids (THANK YOU). They have LOVED it. YOu see the parasols. Hilarious!

All 3 living it up on the John Deere!

Isaiah blowing bubbles out the sun room window.

Alyssa asked me to put "some pickles" on her eyes before I painted her fingernails and toenails. So, I cut up this cucumber and put them on her eyes. 0.5 seconds after I took the picture, she took them off and ate them!

Alyssa performing in the sun room. Please note her left foot. She puts on about 5-6 socks on top of each other and then performs. Not sure why! I say it is her "Michael Jackson glove look" except on the foot! Cracks us up!

More

Part of Isaiah's program

Isaiah and one of his teachers, Ms. Christa. He was making a frito/cracker sandwich.

The cutest pig ever to walk the earth!

Being a little nervous at the beginning of the porgram.

Today, Isaiah had his end of the year program at preschool. His class sang some songs and did 2 skits. Isaiah was the pig in the Little Red Hen skit. He did such a great job and even had a clever little pig voice. After the program, the parents and grandparents were invited back to the classroom to see artwork and have some snacks. He was so proud to show me the work he had done. I love that little guy!

Tonight getting ready for bed, Isaiah accidentally swallowed some of his flouride and was coughing quite a bit. I helped him get a drink of water and wiped up the mess. Our conversation went like this:

Isaiah: "Mommy, I love you because you always help me sometimes."
mom: "That's why God gave you a mommy, so she could help you when you need it."
Isaiah: "And, I know why God gave me a daddy."
mom: "Why"
Isaiah: "So he could never stop spending money."

HA HA. Somehow I think he was trying to convey how much he appreciates Tim providing for our family, but the actual verbage is just SO much better!

A great visit

At the Fossill Museum (Alyssa was at school)

He really did great, but doesn't look so happy here.

Ornery!

Getting her flouride treatment!

Papaw Neal, Grammy, Uncle Zach and Uncle Tony came to visit this week. We had a really great time catching up and visiting. I think Isaiah might finally be recovered. He thinks Zach walks on water and they had a great time playing during the visit! We went to the Gray Fossil Museum, hung out at the park and went to see Alyssa's t-ball game! It was a lot of fun! I wish I had more pictures to share, but I STINK at taking pictures. I will steal some of Grammy's!!!!

In the midst of all the fun, Alyssa and Isaiah had dentist appointments. I couldn't help taking pictures of them in their shades. They did awesome and no cavities!

A little Easter ditty by Alyssa

(As written by Alyssa)

The Easter Bunny comes too your house
And hides eggs
he bring you Easter basket
He might bring you a webkinz, a pony
or a bunny.
It not about candy
Not about Eggs
It about Jesus rose from the grave.

If I had the option of typing a few letters backwards, that would have made it even better.

Crazy week

She played 1st base and scored twice in her second game!

Isaiah's preschool hatched baby chicks this week. This was a HUGE deal in our house!

Slip and Slide!

Well, this week has been a humdinger! It has been full of life in many different ways, good and bad. We started the week by Tim hitting a deer on the way to work Monday morning. He is fine and the insurance company is fixing the truck, so it ended very well! Alyssa started T-ball this week (see picture above). She is on the Lady Twisters. Her school is the Towne Acres Tornadoes and they are grouped by school. She is really enjoying it, but still is pretty clueless on the game itself. We need some more back yard practice!

Alyssa also came home from school this week with some knowledge from a friend that threw us for a loop. All has been great as a result, but it was out of the blue! Kids learn things so young these days. I guess we probably did too, but it is hard to remember!

So, with 2 T-ball games, a deer and "THE question" this week, we are feeling a little wiped out. It is Saturday morning and we are all still in our PJs and the kids are in desparate need of a bath! We are heading off to do so, but here are a few pictures from our week!
