Visit from Fam

Carter eating his popsicle.

Granny and her great grand kids!

Cousins!

The boys!

Playing trains!

Here are some pictures from a recent visit from Papaw Smith, Suzy, Granny Smith and cousin Carter! It was great to see everyone! What a blessing that the kids are getting to know their great-Grandma. Granny slept in Alyssa's bed while they were here and the next night when I was putting her to bed she said "My bed smells like Granny Smith." We both agreed that it was pretty cool to have your bed smell like your great-Grandma! Awesome! And, I don't even think I need to comment on how much fun the kids and Carter had during the visit. They LOVE their cousin and he loves them too. Even Ella now, I think! HA HA!

Chattanooga

Isaiah chilling at the aquarium!

Ella playing in the water area at the Children's museum.
On the Tennessee River in Chattanooga!

Waiting to ride the train up to Lookout Mountain!

IMAX, here we come!

Who's excited to swim!!!

Probably my favorite picture ever of these 2! They are in the house Alyssa and Tim built at the museum! They actually look like they like each other!

The house! She worked really hard on it!

Dad and Alyssa hard at work!

Isaiah and Alyssa digging for fossils!

We have been a little busy the past couple of weeks, thus limiting my blog posts. But, I wanted to share some photos with you all from our Spring Break trip to Chattanooga. It was a fun few days and just enough time away to let us enjoy some down time here at home while the kids were off school. We hit the Children's museum, the aquarium, saw an IMAX movie and swam in the hotel pool (a true highlight for the young'uns.) Here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip.

Sweet Boy

Today, Isaiah watched the movie Ice Age for quiet time. I was in the other room putting laundry away (it is my passion, ya know) and he came in as he was wiping his eyes and said "Mom, the movie is over. The end always makes me cry." It was SO sweet. At the end of movie, a lost baby gets reunited with his father. What a sweet boy!

All is well

Attached is a picture of Tim in his new T-shirt that he received today! We didn't share with many people, but Tim had to have some testing done at the Center for Digestive Wellness today! If you can't read it, the shirt says "I helped Stamp Out Colon Cancer". As we were trying to find the place, there was a huge sign in the front that had COLON CANCER in big white letters. It was only when you got right up on it that you could read that it said "Stamp Out" in tiny black letters at the top. Not a very comforting thing to see as we were approaching the Center. Anyhow, Tim Neal was pronounced 100% digestively healthy! Great news! And for all you biggest losers, we counted none of his weight loss from Saturday until today, but he still looks pretty smokin' hot doesn't he! Can I get a whoop whoop!

The weekend

Little Miss Mischievious! She is almost 2, ya know!

The first popsicle of the season.

I know you are all familiar with the pose!!!

We had a great visit with Gran and Papaw Bill this weekend and I am ashamed to say that I didn't get a single picture of our visit with them. My apologies to everyone! However, here are some pictures we took over the last few days!

Farewell Basketball and Cheerleading

Ella watching Alyssa's game.

Isaiah "Baby Shack" Neal.

Let's Go Upward!

Notice the "swooped" hair cut.

I am having trouble uploading the videos I took from this weekend's games, but here are some pictures. Alyssa was glad cheerleading was over, and Isaiah went out in style. He scored his first basket on Saturday. I think mom, dad and big sister were more excited than he was about it, but it was pretty exciting!
